Background

I was raised in Sherwood Park and have been residing in Beaumont since 2005, although I have been tied closely to the town since the late 1990s, as my wife was born and raised in Beaumont. We were married at St. Vital Catholic Church in 2005. I am 30 years old, but act like a 65 year old. Bed time is 10:00pm.

I have two degrees, one from the University of Calgary in English, and the other from the University of Alberta, where I majored in Education. I also just recently completed my Business diploma from Nait, with a focus on Marketing.

I am currently working for Flint Energy Services, in their Human Resource department, in a Generalist role. Prior to this position, I worked for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta.

Perhaps one of my greatest experiences was in the 2004-2005 school year, where I taught high school English in Kuwait. Truly a year of experiences!

My wife and I are proudly owned by our two dogs, Monday and Bear. I brought Monday back from Kuwait and we adopted Bear in 2006 from NASAP. We enjoy long hikes with them on the various backroads around Beaumont and the occasional romp at the off-leash park.

My hobbies are fairly simple. I enjoy walking the dogs and I read like mad. I am slowly taking up the game of golf, but reviews are mixed at best.
